HPMC production process

The main raw materials of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC): refined cotton, methyl chloride, propylene oxide, other raw materials include caustic soda, acid, toluene, isopropyl alcohol, etc.
After a series of sterilization processes, high-precision instruments are used for crushing. When the refined cotton is crushed to the most precise and suitable particle size, we will enter our next step: alkalization.
Alkalization is a technology that requires careful attention to usage and safe operation. It requires experienced employees to conduct high-intensity observation operations. Our safety officers will also conduct frequent inspections during the process.
After alkalization, and after being determined qualified by the staff, we will proceed closely to the next step: etherification. This is a very technical operation. In the end, we will go through a series of “washing, centrifugation, drying, crushing…” and other professional and safe technical operations. There will be personnel from the security department. Random inspections are carried out. When the samples are fully qualified, the department will issue a notification, and the factory will package the final products and ship them safely and quickly to all parts of the world.
